Yorkshire Three Peaks - Challenge Event

Covering 24 miles, conquering 3 peaks, and climbing a total of 2,153 metres, the iconic Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is an achievement to be proud of. Guided by qualified mountain leaders, you’ll tackle Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough—all within 12 hours.

About the Event

The Yorkshire Three Peaks is a one-day challenge covering a demanding 24-mile route with a combined ascent of 2,153 metres. A good level of physical fitness is essential to complete this trek. A training plan will be provided.

Age Requirements

  • Under 18s are welcome to participate at the same cost as an adult.

    • They must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian—other adult supervisors are not permitted.

    • A Medical and Participation Form must be completed and signed by the parent or guardian, and must include the young person’s date of birth.

  • Under 12s may only participate with permission from the expedition leader.

Fundraising

To take part, each participant must raise a minimum sponsorship of £250.

While the trek is rated as tough, you’ll receive a training plan to help you prepare for the demanding day ahead!
